This week, the Affordable British Art Artist of the Week is Donna Lowe-Fowler. Donna specialises in close up shots of flowers. In the past she completed some short photography courses which she feels has increased the good interpretation and availability of photographs she uses for inspiration .
Donna's eye-catching, bold & vibrant flowers in oils and acrylics will make a statement in any room. She admits to being fascinated by the colours , shapes and folds in the flowers. Greatly encouraged when, in 2007 she won her first award in Sheffilds Art in the Gardens, in the still life and flowers category. The award was presented by Sheffield artist Joe Scarborough.
Donnas subject matter is not confined to flowers, however, her art also includes abstract Skylines, animals and scenery.
Donna is happy to undertake commisions....you can contact her vie her Affordable British Art Gallery.
