This week's Artist of the week is Audrey Greaves. Of her work, Audrey says: "I was born and live in West Yorkshire, England and am self-taught having attended life-drawing classes for 2 years and was a member of an Art Club for eight years.
I began painting seriously in 1992 after joining an Art Club. I enjoy painting landscapes, flowers, wild life, portraits and pet portraits. Recently I have been doing abstract and naive paintings. My inspiration is found in the English landscape as well as scenes from abroad. I am also inspired by flowers in my own garden as well as parks and gardens that I visit. I paint in oils, acrylics, watercolour and mixed media."
